Zilveren vroedschapspenning met op de voorzijde het rondschrift "NUMMUS SENATORIUS" en een staande leeuw die een schild met het wapen van Leiden vasthoudt en een zwaard. De leeuw heeft twee kwasten aan zijn staart. Op de keerzijde van de penning staat in hoogreliëf de tekst: "Prúdens parentúm consilio, & fide, Fortis parentúm cladibus, & fame, Virtute discat pertinaci Posteritas Patriam túeri."
