Public domain is a term used to indicate that works are no longer protected by copyright and related rights. In the EU, this is the case when the maker has been deceased for at least 70 years. In that case, there is no rightful claimant and there is no permission needed to use the work.
Koperen oordje (1/4 stuiver) uit Zeeland uit 1579. Beide zijden zijn grotendeels weggesleten. Op de keerzijde zijn de contouren van een wapen te zien met hierboven het jaartal "[15]79". De munt zit in een witte envelop, waarop geschreven staat: "No 31. Zeeland-oordje. 1x (15)79".
