PRIVATE DONATION OF RARE GLASS TO MUSEUM DE LAKENHAL

In a remarkable way, Museum De Lakenhal has become the owner of a rare 18th-century glass with an inscription typical Leiden. A group of private benefactors brought together the means to acquire the glass for Museum De Lakenhal. The glass is right in time for the annual celebration of Leiden's Relief on 3 October. The new highlight is on display from Saturday 3 October, when the museum is to be visited for free between 10 AM and 1 PM.
