design your own Ex Libris or Monogram
In second-hand bookstores and (private) libraries you still come across them: the Ex Libris. This is an ownership mark by which you can tell who owns the book. The Ex Libris has been around for a long time and today it is seen as a form of art. Around the book week, we delve into this art form in the museum studio and you can make your own Ex Libris by linocut. Curious? Come to the Open Studio and get inspired by examples from the collection and by the advice the museum teacher can give you.
On Sunday 23 March you can visit the museum for free with the Book Week Gift, and thus also join us in the Open Studio.

Prefer to work at home? There are lots of assignments for you in the Home studio. To do together or alone, with paper and pencil or with things from the kitchen. Check out the assignments and create your own optical illusion, for example.
